Our buiness has been using mailChimp for many years. We have found it easy to use for our emails and loyalty club subscription membership base however as our business has grown we are now looking for a better app that can be used in our shopify POS system rather than a mailchimp based loyalty club that we also run a physical loyalty club card with in store.
There are many loyalty club apps about, but i have not found one that would specifically fit our business with the way its run, and wondering if anyone else has found one that has the following criteria:
- the ability to send emails to loyalty club member database simply and easily
- the ability to add points for customers shopping in store (retail) and also on our online store
- a point system that we can manually set up (so 1 point for every $50 spent and a reward after 10 points)
- the ability to offer double reward points on certain days
- the ability for customers to use reward dollars as they accumulate a certain spend value ($500) or save them for later use
- Although i have mailchimp email integrated in our shopify apps it does not do the loyalty club point accumulation, we do that manually on the loyalty club card in store which currently means our online customers do not have any points accumulating, so we are wanting a loyalty club that acccumulates the point through both the POS shopify and Online Shopify
- currently if a customer unsubscribes to the mailing list they still have in their possession a phyical loyalty club card that they can keep using as we dont know they have unsubscribed. this is annoying as customers can unsubscribe to our emails but continue to have the benefits of the free gift vouchers, where as a shopify integrated loyalty club where we have to put the customers name into the system to bring up the points would mean if they unsubscribe they no longer have a points tally which is better.
mailchimp is also becoming very expensive for our business as we are now being charged $80 US a month for our datatbase of customers. some months we send multiple emails, others we dont. we dont mind paying for app if is is more streamline than the system we re currently using howver mailchimp is just a database of names that offers email integration.
I have foiund many apps that do some of the above but not all and just wondering if anyone has a suggestion please?
