Marketplace API connection

Hi, We have a new marketplace that we will be onboarding in couple of weeks where they'll be sending us orders, invoices and also syncing inventory. They would like to connect using API. Can you please provide me with guidance on how we can connect them via API to Shopify and if there are any costs associated with this request? Below is a link to their API connection information.

Is this something that would require a custom app or a direct API connection to Shopify.
