Multicurrency Conversion issue on Cart page

We're experiencing an issue with our checkout process and need some assistance. Here are the steps to generate the scenario:

1. Go to the checkout page with any currency selected (let's say CAD). It will display the CAD rates.
2. Change the shipping address from CAD to USD on the checkout page, and it will display USD rates on the checkout page.
3. Return to the home page and then go to the cart page. The currency dropdown correctly shows CAD, but the prices shown are in USD.
4. If we update the cart, the correct discounted prices are displayed.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
