Hi guys! I'm creating a multilingual store. Do you know any translate apps which help translating my site into many languages?

Hey Maggie,

You can consider using Langify or Weglot to translate your store - enable langue switcher in your store front. They're compatible with page builders like PageFly. Also if you're looking for a translation app that can do both auto-translation or manual translation then you should try Weglot first!

Hope you find this helpful.

Cheers!

Hi @Maggie05

Since you're creating multilingual store, I would recommend Transcy as a good choice. This is a front-end app which allow you to:

  1. Translate your whole store into multiple languages: Transcy allows you to translate your whole store content into target languages to reach different nation shoppers. It  can translate all pages such as: product pages, collection pages, etc,… up to 5 languages, and can convert currencies also.
  2. Auto-update language translation: This is a unique function made by Transcy. Whenever you add new products or new content to your store, Transcy always automatically detects and translates them.
  3. Image or Photo translation: Transcy allows you to add specific images for every translated version of your store’s content. You just upload an image or give the URL to the image you want to translate. Select the source language of the image and the target language you want to convert it to.

More and more people are shopping online now, therefore, speaking in the language of the site visitor throughout the purchase process can help convert the potential customers into loyal customers.  Using the right languages for their specific target markets have helped boost sales, both locally and internationally.

Hope this helps! Wish you all the best!

Hi @PageFly-Victor

Is there any trial days if I use Weglot or Langify?

Which one do you prefer? My budget is nott too much.

Thanks a lot,

Alysa.

Hi @alysadawn,

If you have a small budget then consider using Langify, only 1 plan with full access but you just get 7day trial, quite short.

For Weglot you got free translation for first 2k words, only 1 language supported, then you need to upgrade if you have more content to translate, or even you want to have 3rd language. However, it has auto translate and the UI is great 🙂

Cheers,

Hi Maggie,

You can try GTranslate: https://apps.shopify.com/multilingual-shop-by-gtranslate

It has free and paid plans, and all paid plans have a 15-day trial.
The configuration is as easy as 1-2-3, and the support team is available through Live Chat.

You can have automatic translations and edit them right on the translated pages, or
you can disable automatic translations and start translating from the original.

Check the example store: https://www.myla.com/
This is how the editing interface looks like https://gtranslate.io/edit/https://nl.myla.com/

Hope my reply was helpful.

I use Weglot, so far so good except some strange behaviors from time to time where the translation are broken because of span tags, I have to monitor carefully because it happens suddenly without explanations...
