Need an app that can show metric to customer at checkout

I sell products made of recycled material on my shopify store and I need an app that will calculate the total amount of plastic bottles that went into someone's total order at checkout. We have how many recycled bottles goes into each of our products, we just need an app that will add-up and display that information to the customer at checkout with a customizable message (ex. Thanks for keeping our oceans clean! You helped to keep "X amount" of water bottles out of oceans & landfills")

You could try using the product warning apps that have pop up warnings at checkout when certain products are added to a cart and then add the warning content dynamically using the dynamic product metafiles and a theme 2.0 where the metafield is the amount of plastic bottles the product contains? Not sure if this would help but this is what I might try if I was trying to do it with Shopify apps. You should definitely be able to do this using product metadata somehow for sure and if not Shopify support can always recommend apps that will do the task you need done so if forums don't get the answers you need chat with a support agent from Shopify 🙂
