Need Help Removing Meta Pixel from Shopify Store

I'm in urgent need of assistance!

I'm currently unable to remove the Meta pixel from my Shopify store as Shopify has removed the option to do so.

Already tried:

  1. I commented out the "content_for_header" section as instructed.
  2. I also raised a support ticket with Shopify, but I haven't received any response or resolution from their team.

If anyone has encountered this issue before and knows a workaround, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Hi @Rohit7010

Since Shopify has removed the option to remove it directly, I can suggest a workaround that might help.

  1. Go to your Shopify admin panel.
  2. Click on "Online Store" and then select "Themes."
  3. In the "Actions" drop-down menu, choose "Edit Code" for the theme you're currently using.
  4. In the code editor, locate the "theme.liquid" file, which is usually found under the "Layout" folder.
  5. Look for the section that contains the Meta pixel code. It typically starts with `<script>` and ends with `</script>`.
  6. Comment out or delete the entire Meta pixel code section.
  7. Save the changes and exit the code editor.

After following these steps, the Meta pixel code should no longer be present on your Shopify store. Remember to save your changes and test your store to ensure that the Meta pixel has been successfully removed.

If you're still facing issues or have further questions, I recommend reaching out to Shopify Support again, providing them with the specific details of your problem. They should be able to assist you further in troubleshooting and resolving the issue.

Hope that my solution works for you.

Best regards,
