App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I just got the Infinite Option Variant Option app (the $9.99/month version) and was using the Narrative theme. Unfortunately the variants added to my custom products glitch with the old theme, so I got the new 2.0 theme Dawn. I am loving the setup on this and my new site layout is great, however, I cannot get the Infinite app to work with the new theme. Am I crap out of luck or is there a way to get this app to work on the new theme?
Hey, @JenniferA.
Thanks for reaching out here! I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying the new 2.0 Dawn theme. I'm happy to work with you so that we can get the app integrated with the new theme. To confirm, are you referring to the Infinite Options app?
To gather a little bit more information, what happens when you attempt to integrate the app with your current theme? That additional context will be super helpful to determine our next best steps. In the meantime, will you please review this third-party document and let me know if you've tried to follow the steps listed already?
Looking forward to hearing back from you, so that we can continue to work on this together.

Hi @Luna , yes Infinite Options, the one with the infinitaty logo.
I am able to go into the app and add my customization variants, but when I hit live preview, and it brings me to the product page, the variants are not there. I have several that are drop down options and a few that require the customer to add text for personalization.
I did just try to use the instructions you included, but when I go to ADD BLOCK, the option for Infinite Options is not there.
Thank you for your help!
Hey, @JenniferA.
Thank you so much for getting back to me! That context really helps. When it comes to apps that were not developed directly by Shopify, my knowledge and scope of support is limited, and so it will be quicker and more effective to connect with the developers of this app. From what I've read, it is possible they will have to manually integrate the app within your new theme.
To get in contact with the developers, you can head to their app listing and click on 'Get Support' as seen here:
Please let me know how that goes, Jennifer. In the meantime, I'd love to hear more about your business. How has everything been going?
Warmly,
