no reponse for "Press any key to open the login page on your browser"

I am following this guide -> https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/getting-started/create to build an app, at the step - "npm run dev", it show "To run this command, login to Shopify Partners. Press any key to open the login page on your browser", i tried many different key but no luck. It will then show Auto-open timed out. Open the login page: ...."

Any advice?

issue resolved. Need to create at local first, then the redirection will work.

I have the same problem and do not know what is meant with "local". Please explain further

nvm, seems to be a bug in the new cli version
