Not able to connect to Google Merchant Center

Hi there to whoever that can help!

We are trying to connect our store to Google Merchant center using the native Google & Youtube App but we are getting this message when we select the merchant center account and click "CONNECT"

"An error occurred. Please try again later." 

What actions we have already tried:

- Disconnected and reconnected different Google accounts with admin access.

- Uninstalled and reinstalled the app

- Implemented the merchant center confirmation code in the header of the theme file

Any ideas?

I also keep getting this error! I tried chatting with Shopify and did not get much help as they told me to open a ticket with Google

I recommend trying in 24 hours again.

Try a different browser.

Sometimes these bugs are temporary. If it persists, contact Google Support.

@irvingweiss based on your reply, I assume you have an issue, if you have issues with the google and youtube app, contact Google via: https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/shopify_3p_support_app
