You can tag a customer by going to their customer profile in your Shopify admin. Then, you can add a tag to their profile. When they place an order, you'll get a notification that mentions the tag you added. You can use this feature to get notified of specific customers, VIP customers, or any other type of customer you want to keep track of.

@NiallKav you can do things like this with Order Automator.
1. You would create a rule that if customer tags contains "Some tag", then tag the order and send a notification to a selected email address with the order information.
2. You can create tag / notification rules for any geographic data (country, province, etc).
