Order Printer App Options ??

I've been dragging my feet in the hopes that Shopify improves their rating for their "Shopify Order Printer" app that is replacing the "Order Printer (Legacy)" app - as the reviews are HORRIBLE.

Are my only choices to install this 2-star app and fight with it? - or pay $10 a month for an app that does something really, really basic, like printing an order. 

This is ridiculous. Am I missing something here?

I keep going back to the app store in the hopes that I'm not seeing a practical solution that will NOT cost me $120 a year to just PRINT the ORDERS for my customers.  

Again, a basic, basic need for any online store that Shopify is MISSING.
