payment app setup Beta requirements not met

Trying to setup payment app
it says Beta requirements not met when I run shopify app deploy

I’m encountering the same issue.

We’ve recently been approved for Shopify’s Payments Platform, and I’m trying to add a payments extension as outlined in the docs here: https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/build/payments/credit-card/use-the-cli?framework=remix.

However, as soon as I add the payments extension, I can’t even run the app locally using shopify app dev — I get the exact same error as with shopify app deploy: “error Beta requirements not met”

I also tested this with a previously working test app. It runs fine until I add the payments extension — then the same error occurs.

Could someone from the Shopify team shed some light on what might be causing this?
