popup by country

Hello, I'm trying to add a popup for visitors to my site from particular countries : for example, for the french visitors "bonjour, nous parlons français !" ou for the german visitors "guten tag, wir sprechen deutsch". Could someone tell me which (free ?) app does that simply ? Thank you.

Hi Mathias, WisePops, the Shopify popup app I work for offers this option.

We use the IP address of the user to geolocate her and displayed the campaign matching their location.

To be 100% transparent with you, the app is not free. But you can test it for free for 14 days.

There are definitely some apps available to help you to achieve this. Each come with a free trial allowing you to test them out. The Free Popups & Banners app by Pixelpop then offers a 100% free basic plan after this trial period.

Alternatively we do have a guide which helps you to display custom messaging and pop ups depending on your customer's location. This is a free option though it would involve some custom coding

Our companies shop operates in multiple languages and markets, and it is usual for costumers to enter in the "wrong" shop version (market/language).

We were thinking about always showing a pop-up to force the user to choose the country and language.
