App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I’m trying to setup the pos and accidentally put in my inactive store% how do I change it to the correct store? It doesn’t give me the option and just keeps asking for a PIN number that I don’t have. I hope someone can help
You can reset the account for Shopify POS in your device settings.
Apple:
1. Open Settings
2. Scroll down until you find the "Shopify POS" app then click on it
3. Select "Reset Account"
4. Toggle the option to reset your account
Android:
1. Open Settings
2. Click on Apps
3. Find the Shopify POS app, then click on it
4. Clear cache
I'm not 100% certain whether the android option provides the same option as Apple as I only have an iPhone to test this with; however, clearing cache on your android device should remove any app data stored on your device.
Let me know how that turns out!

Thank you Trevor. But where do I find out the pin that it’s asking for?
Great question! POS PINs can be set/changed through a staff member's profile in Store Admin > Settings > Users & permissions - You'll need to login to the Shopify admin via your mobile browser, or desktop device in order to access these settings.
