Pressing back button on Android closes embedded app instead of routing back

When you press the back button while viewing your embedded app in the Shopify mobile app (on Android at least), your app closes and it goes back to the list of apps. I believe it should instead route back to the previous app page, etc, and work exactly like pressing the back button on a desktop browser.

I had previously implemented logic to catch the back button press and use it to close a menu that is open, and it was working a few weeks ago, but now that doesn't work and the app just closes. It's very unintuitive and I'm sure it's frustrating for many users. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

@Shopify I think this may be a bug, so can you take a look at it?
