Price Checker for Shopify, but physical for retail store

We are a retail store and we want to have smartphones like price checkers to provide customer with item price. I tried the normal shopify app with limited access but still have access to cost per item and this is not good. I also tried the POS app but still not good for that.

IS there any other option?

Giving this a bump because we'd like to find the same thing. What we want is an app, preferably Android, that has a single function: when the camera sees a barcode, it scans it, returns the name of the product and the price, and resets to wait for the next barcode. Ideally part of the screen would be a viewfinder since the camera doesn't emit a beam like a real store scanner.
