Print On Demand That Imports Custom Photo

Hi,

I am looking to build  a store that allows me to have a customer customize their image on a different site and then once they are ready - allow them to order an item with that image using print on demand items.

What would you recommended?

"have a customer customize their image on a different site"

Is this in reference to a specific design tool that you want your customers to use to design their products? Or are you simply looking for the ability for a customer to upload an image to your product page and have that design incorporated onto a product (mug, towel, socks, etc.)?

I am looking to have a front end app that works with the user to make the image and then pipe it into shopify as the print on design provider to pay and take it from there.

Apologies for the delay here! In this case, I would definitely recommend looking into a product customizer app such as KickFlip. These apps will feature a front-end live customizer for your customer to create their own custom designs for you to fulfill.

Is there any print on demand service that allows customization of the base image? Or upload of a new image on the fly?
Our use case is letting the customer personalise our image, then printing on demand.
