Product add on that cannot be purchased separately

Hello,

I am looking for a way to have an add-on available when on a product page.  I would like to make it so that if the original product is deleted from the cart, the customer cannot just purchase the add-on item on its own.  For example: I sell cushion covers.  I would like an inflatable cushion to be available as an add-on.  The inflatable cushion would only be available to purchase if the customer is purchasing a cover as well (If the cover is removed from the cart, the cushion would be removed as well) Is there an app that can help with this?

Hi

You could achieve this by adding a couple of variation options like follows:

• Option 1: Cushion Cover
• Option 2: Cushion Cover & Inflatable Cushion

If you are already using variations then get a bit more complicated but your only restriction is the max variations Shopify lets you have.

Note you can bundle up each variant with the components so inventory is maintained. Our app then processes those bundles post purchase so the orderlines are correct. The inflatable cusion SKU you would set as not available online but it would still show up in orders through our app.
