I'm looking for a product option app that includes conditional logic and product previews based on options selected. What I have is art print shop with framed or un-framed prints in various sizes and mediums. For example, the client would select a print, then have option to choose Framed or Canvas Wrap, based on which they choose additional options would display. While they are making options choices, the product image would be updated with those selections. Has anyone seen a Shopify product options app like this?
We check your need and saw that you can try our Product & Variants Options app.
It provides you with all the features you want:
- Various option types: Image swatch, textbox, multi-select, file upload & more
- Price add-on option: Add extra fee when customers select options
- Conditional logic: Show or hide option based on previous selection
- Edit options on the cart page: Easily edit options on cart page for a better experience
However, updating the product image when customers are making options choices as you want is an upcoming feature in our app.

And regarding the live preview issue, it changes according to the option selection. Please check this video
Are you able to preview multiple images bases on the selection? I would like to have sets of 5-6 images per variation that changed depending on the variation selected. I also need conditional logic the shows or hides drop downs depending on the selection. Haven't been able to find an app that does both of these, change multiple images with conditional logic.
The Inkybay app offers the “Product Options” feature. With this feature, you can add as many options as you want. Here, if your customer choose an option from the other two or three given options then the next option will be displayed depending on the selection and the images will be updated according to that also.
You can display those options in drop-down, radio, swatch, and check box. For the swatch images, it’ll also preview on the product page. It’s possible to assign the price to each option and the price will be added to the base price when any option is selected by the customer. The information of all options will be available on the order files also. You can get the order files through the app in four different formats PNG, JPG, PDF, and SVG.
This app provides great customer support and they provide services in many ways like live chat, email, ticket, and live meetings also.
You’ll get 21 days of free trial for going through all the customization features. Here is the Demo Product.
@Store_Pleb I've already looked into that one. The part that is missing is the "live preview" option which would allow you to view the selected option when that choice is made.
I think we may be thinking of two different kinds of "live view" 😅
The live view Im referring to is while building the option set, I can see how it will look if I save and publish it. Is that what you meant?
