Hello, I developed an embedded app for Shopify store called WORTHSTOCK.
The app is currently available on the market and working and the latest release was published in February 2022. Now I have to do some small changes and I wanted to launch it in the development store but it doesn't work.
I haven't worked on it for at least a month and now when I try to launch it (same code as the published version) from the test store I get this message "This app can’t load due to an issue with browser cookies. Try enabling cookies in your browser, switching to another browser, or contacting the developer to get support."
Now I tried everything cookies related but it didn't work. After some research I noticed that the "host" parameter (that is correctly passed to the published app by Shopify console) is not passed in the test store.
Moreover I noticed that the installation modal for the development stores has changed completely, which raises the doubt that something in the backend might also have changed.
If anyone knows of changes to this process or has tips please help me out.
I contacted partner support (through merchant support because partner support is not easy to encounter) who said "we cannot help you troubleshoot your app" which I found ridiculous since the app is published and working and the same app doesn't work in development anymore.
