App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi all,
I'm running into one hiccup with Shopify that I’m hoping someone else in the boutique world has solved.
Right now, I use an open-to-buy system to track what I’ve purchased each month. But in Shopify, all my purchase orders (POs) are shown together, there’s no easy way to separate them by month or see how much I’ve committed per month.
I've already reached out to Shopify support, but they couldn't offer a solution.
Are there any other boutiques here that use Shopify and have figured out a way to organize POs by month?
Whether it's through tags, an app, or a workaround — I'd love to know what’s worked for you.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @joshmcl
Shopify does not have native monthly PO tracking, but some shops and businesses in general, makeshift with tagging POs by month for example, “PO-June” or using custom fields. Apps like Stocky for inventory and POs or Inventory Planner offer stronger PO reporting and forecasting. These will help you to organize and determine your monthly purchases.
