Question on app submission and maintenance/update after app is live

1. I have logic in my app that will redirect the merchant to a Payment Plan Page if they have not subscribed to the app. Just wondering how is this going to work during app review? Should this redirect code be commented out prior to submission for review?

2. Are there any docs or guides on how an app developer should update and maintain an app after it has been released on the app store?
