Am having issues syncing my Shopify POS data with my Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise 24.0 software. I recently upgraded my Enterprise from version 21.0 to 24.0 and did not have too many issues with syncing my data over to Quickbooks. When running the sync it says it's connected to the Quickbooks desktop and the Data Sync is running, but the number of data items do not seem to be decreasing and moving over to Quickbooks. On the Quickbooks it's showing that the Quickbooks Connector is connected to my device and even generates a token number. Is anyone having this issue? Very frustrating and have a months worth of data to sync over to Quickbooks. Cannot contact anyone at Quickbooks Desktop Connector to speak with regarding this issue.
Today, 6/14/2024, I have the same issue. Tried to remove Shoppinpal QBD Connector from integrated app in preferences in QBD then reconnect with no success. Tried logging out of Shopify admin and logging back in, restart computer and still not resolved.
See my posting today and hope this helps.
I am having the same issue. Started last week. In shopify in the quickbooks web connector app, I click on Sync with Quickbooks, it starts, it connects with quickbooks, but then never syncs any transactions. Just stalls out and no information is transferred. Then the Sync with Quickbooks button never goes green again and stays greyed out so I can't press it again. Even when trying to set an auto sync at a specific time, it never works either. Shopify just says it's a known issue and they're working on it. Very frustrating.

How do i find your post? New to all this?
I am having the same issue. Shopify support is no help. Someone finally told me it had something to do with the API upgrade that did this. As of yesterday, they told me it was fixed but I still cannot sync. I have had nothing but issues with this software from day one. I will be looking for a new system.
OMG! I'm in the same boat. Someone from QB told me they are no longer compatible with Shopify. I hope this is not true! We have invested alot of money in this system in upgrades and fees over the last year and half. Sounds like no one is getting answers! I'd like to talk to shopify if someone can tell me where they got help! YIKES!
I was able to do a live chat with them although they were never much of a help. Tried a few things but same thing. I was able to do a full sync today. I did an Auto Sync instead of a manual sync. I had tried this before but if failed. However this time it did go through. I'm hoping no further issues. But doing the auto sync did finally work.
GREAT NEWS FOR YOU! I just got off chat with Shopify. What I interpreted was that Shopify has taken over the support of all QB connectors, and that the Quickbooks team within Shopify was going to look into it. I've tried the auto sync - but I'll try it again! Thanks for the small light of hope. I was really panicking when I was on the phone with Intuit. I think everyone is tired of Intuit being a monopoly and being the only choice! So frustrating
We have been having a similar issue. We upgraded to Desktop 24 mid May. The sync worked for a couple of weeks and then it broke and has stayed broken. The issue we are having is that not ALL of our transactions and being transferred into QB. On the Shopify side, no error is generated so it appears as if the sync was successful. When I go into QB and look at the "Payments to Deposit" window, transactions are missing. This started happening on May 31 and has continued to this day. Including May 31st through yesterday. We had 88 transactions in Shopify and only 28 of them made it into QB! I have been trying to deal with this all month long and have had no luck. I've had chats closed and emails ended with no resolution and have had to start a new conversation with a new person over and over. It has been extremely frustrating. I'm not sure how we're going to close the books for the month nor what we are going to do going forward. Shopify's Customer Service is a joke. If I ever get a resolution, I'll pass it on, but I wouldn't hold my breath...
I forgot to add that we have reinstalled the Desktop Connector in both Shopify and QB multiple times and it has not fixed the issue. We even reinstalled QB 2024 just in case that was the problem and it did not fix the issue either.
Oh my! That's horrible - I'm afraid to go sync mine now. We still are just fighting the two transactions! Here is the last response I've gotten, I have yet to try it - as we have multiple business running - but only have one retail store on Shopify.
I have been waiting on the team to get back to me, but I am still yet to get a response. However, while we wait, I would like us to try a popular step I see a lot of merchants do and this works most of the time for syncing issues.
Can you please sign out of Shopify, then sign out of QB and then Clear cache and cookies? After this step please log into both and ensure it is opened on one page and there is no popup interfering then retry the sync again.
Just hoping it will help someone out there.
How have you fixed this issue? We are having same issues and done everything you have
Okay, finally resolved the issue with Quickbooks Enterprise 24.0 data syncing from Shopify. Abandoned the Quickbooks Connector App due to no support and help from Shopify on this issue. Am using the Quickbooks Desktop App by Parex now and seems to be working and syncing our Sales and Stocky data over to Quickbooks. This seems to be the only viable App to get this done, after much research on the other existing Apps. Of course, many hours spent on chats with Shopify and Intuit to get to this point. Not much support for us Quickbooks users unfortunately!
Shopify fixed the sync. It just takes a while but it is working again.
Is anyone having issues with sales that is paid in part by gift card and part credit card? The dual payments are not coming over to QB.
Good to hear! Which app did you use to sync?
QB Desktop Connector.
Did you find any solution to this issues? What connector app are you sing?
how did you solve this problem? We are having same issue
