Receiving notification for abandoned carts

I can’t believe there is no setting to receive an email from your store when a potential customer abandon 5eir cart but is there an app for that?

I checked the Shopify app store but all the apps I found are for sending to the customer.

any suggestion would be welcome.

Hello Ash_Elsahn2,

By default, email is sent to customers only in case of Abandoned Carts.

You can view the abandoned cart details from your Store Admin panel, under Orders.

In case you want an email for admin in case of abandoned carts, you need some custom scripts.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond but I know that and I believe it is odd that Shopify would not have that basic option.

Hi Sajat - I agree with Ash_Esahn2 - I think this is a BIG miss for Shopify.  I don't want to have to manually go into the site on a random basis to check for abandoned carts.  Is there any way to be notified that a user has abandoned a cart?
