Recommended app for SEO and improve speed

I was looking at Tapita SEO & Speed Optimizer and Tiny SEO Image optimize, Speed.  Does one need to install such an app, what are you using?

Tapita covers a broad range of SEO and speed improvements, making it ideal for overall site optimization. Tiny SEO focuses specifically on optimizing images, which is key for faster loading times.

If you want a comprehensive solution, Tapita is a strong choice. For image-specific issues, go with Tiny SEO. Often, using both can give you the best results. What’s your current setup?

Currently I am not using any optimization, speed shows as good in Shopify. I am unsure these apps actually improve anything, maybe some %. Getting more backlinks is probably more effective.

Have any proof of this, like results? I see alot of claims but very little proof.

I guess you have never benefited from SEO, so you are skeptical.
SEO is a long process, but once you benefit from SEO, it can bring traffic quickly.
Under normal circumstances, most websites are born from scratch, so the effect of SEO will be very slow.
Let me give you an example:

When you search for "Beach Trio" in Google, the website ranks 47th. When I search for "Beach Trio Soap", it ranks 2nd.

This is very impressive and highlights the importance of keywords to website ranking. Maybe just changing one keyword can bring more organic traffic.
