App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hey team, Thank you for taking time to read my post.
I submitted my app for a review to Shopify after developing an MVP that I want to launch to wider community of Shopify merchants. What I wanted to ask was whether I can sort of get a timeline as to when the process would begin, how long would it take in reality. I understand the documentation mentions 5-10 business days, but is there a way I can keep the conversation going back and forth and get it expedited?
I also understand, like me, there would be lots of developers who would want to expedite, but I am curious for the timeline, no issues if it would take 5-10 business days, but I just wanted to make sure that it doesn't take more than that provided I respond to reviewer questions asap or in a day's time.
I read a lot about the review process problems, so that just made me a bit anxious for it.

Shopify's app review process typically takes 5-10 business days, but in reality, it can sometimes take longer depending on the review queue and complexity of the app. The best way to stay engaged and potentially expedite the process is to ensure your submission is fully compliant with Shopify's guidelines and respond quickly to any reviewer feedback.
To keep the conversation going, you can check your Partner Dashboard for updates and reply promptly if Shopify requests any changes. If your review goes beyond 10 business days, you can reach out to Shopify Partner Support for an update

I understand. As of now it's been 2 business days for me. I submitted on 9th March, that was a Sunday, so not counting that. I would complete 10 business days around 21st of March or around that day as I can totally understand timezones.
I'll keep an eye on the dashboard and email for any replies that I would need to give to Shopify.
