Saas integration with shopify

Hey Community,

We have a SAAS that currenty has users and we want the ability to integrate with shopify for each user to pull their products and create orders.

Now I think oauth through Shopify is the best way to do this however let me know what you think. Do I have to publish an app on the app store in order to do something like this? Or simply log them in with oauth and get their acess token?
