I installed the Shopify Search and Discovery app yesterday and added filters for Product Type and Color. These filters are working fine to show the 24 existing products that I already had on my online store. But any additional products I added after installing the Search and Discovery app are not appearing in any of the filters or search results on my site. Does it take a while for new products to appear in the search/filter results? Is there any way to force a reindexing of the search/filter results? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Having the same issue, it's doing my head in. Also I can only see "price filter" Default Vendor and Product Type aren't even showing

I tried uninstalling / reinstalling Search and Discovery app to no avail.
what themes are you guys using? personally, I use Colorblock
I'm using Refresh theme. I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app and removing/re-adding the color and product type filters to no avail. Testing it on different PCs/mobile devices, so it's not something with stale site cache.

ok, that means it's probably not from our theme, there may have been changes made to the filtering app. Do you know if we can find a changelog somewhere?
Just installed Boost AI Search & Discovery and everything is now working. Definitely seems to be an issue with the Shopify Search & Discovery App. Hope devs can look into this issue asap!
Glad that worked for you. I would prefer not to use a paid app for this.
I added a few new collections with automation based on product type, and added those collections to my main menu drop-down, and this is able to correctly see all products that match the chosen product type. Not really a workaround, but rather an alternate way for customers to navigate my site. Still need to get search and filtering fixed.
Same mate. I'm not going to use a paid app. I'll just wait and hopefully see if this gets resolved 🙂
I think I have the same issue. New values (for example, newly added Vendor Names) do not appear. I've tried reinstalling the add-on, but it didn't help
Yeah we're all in the same boat. What theme and version are you using?
I'm using Refresh theme, version 11.0.0.
same problem i cannot see any updates I am making to the meta field filters or vendor filters
I'm having this problem too, though I don't think it's entirely an issue with new products. Some of my older products also aren't showing in some of my metafield filters where they should be.
*edited to add: I'm using the sense theme.
It was working fine until mid day yesterday. Been in the support queue for the past 30 minutes.
Guys, I've got good news.
I contacted support and here's their message:
"So I checked your store and I can see that the search results still don't show anything. In the meantime, I've done some thorough research and found that this problem seems to be affecting a number of other stores. That said, please be aware that our technical team is currently working on a resolution: we're not in a position to provide an estimate of when to anticipate this, but I'll be happy to write again to let you know when this will work again as expected and we can check if the worry is resolved for you :)"
Finally got through to support and got the same message. Sounds like the issue is affecting product filtering and search results for new products. Hopefully a resolution is coming soon.
I think, in my case, the issue got resolved.

Is anyone having any issues with actually using the filters on the frontend?
When I make a selection from any of the filters showing on the frontend, the product grid does a little refresh but then the selection doesn't stay ticked, nor does my selection show in the product grid. I've been unable to get through to support all morning!
Yes!! This is my problem. One day this just happened. I have to go to the search page for searches to appear. On the front end in the header search bar they show up but disappear as I press enyer and it says no matching results. I deleted search and discovery too, but the damage is already done. Did you find fix?
