Select product items for a quantity variant

I am looking for an App or code example... I'm seen this feature on many Shopify sites, and would like to understand how to accomplish this.

Current State: 

In a cookie store, I have used the variant feature to allow customers to order 6, 12, of 24 cookies. However, with the variant associated to the individual cookie, they must order 6, 12, or 24 of  the same cookie.

Desired State:

I would like the customer to order a basket of cookies, of 6, 12, and 24.  After selecting the quantity, I would like all cookies display and allow users to select individual cookies, up to the quantity.  I've seen this on many Shopify site.

I've got a suggestion that might work well for you using the Easify Product Options app. Instead of creating Shopify variants, you can craft your product options right within the app 🤗.

Let me quickly walk you through how you can make the most of this app:

• Begin by creating a new option set:

• Add an option that lets customers choose between 6, 12, or 24 cookies – you can use the Button or another suitable input type.

• Next, add an option that allows customers to pick a maximum of 6 different cookies from your available selection if they choose "6 cookies" in the previous step. You can achieve this using Image Swatches (or Product list, Dropdown with images, Checkbox, etc.) and Conditional Logic.

• You can also link each cookie type (option value) to your existing product to help manage the inventory for each specific cookie.

• Repeat this process to create two more sets of options for when customers choose 12 or 24 cookies in the first option.

• Finally, apply this option set to your relevant product (e.g., "Basket of cookies").

For the features you're looking for, I recommend checking out the "MultiVariants Bulk Order" app on the Shopify App Store. As you want to display your all cookies and allow users to select individual cookies, up to the quantity, so you can make something similar to this by using this app. Through this app, you can offer your customers three different baskets for 6, 12, and 24. After your customer chooses a basket, they will be able to select up to that quantity.
