Shipping Apps in Norway (Parcel Lockers, Pick-Up Points)

Hello,

I am currently building a Norwegian language Shopify store for a client, and he wants to integrate Posten, Bring, and PostNord couriers. I found that they all have existing apps for integration, but the issue is that they all require a Shopify Advanced plan, which is too expensive for the client compared to the Basic plan. Since I'm not Norwegian, I was wondering if there are any local developers here who could recommend an app that works with the Basic plan and includes a parcel locker list on the "Thank You" page or on the cart.

hi @Karolis3 You can opt-in for a 14-day free trial of our Multi-Carrier Shipping Label app for Shopify. The application supports PostNord and is also certified by PostNord. Now, it is true that for most shipping apps that display shipping rates at checkout, you require the Shopify Advanced plan. However, there might be a workaround through which you can get it done using the Basic plan as well. 

PostNord doesn't allow real-time shipping rates through their shipping API so applications will not be able to display shipping rates. In other words, the application will work even with the Shopify Basic plan. Additionally, you will be able to integrate your PostNord account, pay postage, print shipping labels & add tracking numbers to Shopify orders directly within the Shopify dashboard.

I recommend you give this a shot and let me know if this works out for you.

Hi, @UjjawalS thanks for recommendations. Is there going to be a parcel lockers list for a customer to choose using your mentioned workaround on Basic plan?

@Karolis3 Yes, you will be able to display a list of PostNord service points to your customers on the cart page without upgrading to the Advanced Plan. For your reference, you can check how it works in this article.
