Shopify Android app not connecting to the internet

I've had an issue with the Shopify Android app not connecting to the internet for about 2 weeks now.

It doesn't matter if you are connected to wifi or to mobile data, both don't work.

It's getting quite annoying because I use the app to scan postage tracking QR codes when fulfilling items.

I tried clearing the app cache in the phones app manager hoping it would help, but it didn't.

The old "turn it off then back on" trick didn't work either.

Is anyone else having issues with the Android app? and does anyone know of a fix for it?

Same thing, all I got back from shopify was a generic unistall/reload/blah blah blah.
