Shopify App for Unlimited Variants with SKUs, AND Photo Layering for Multiple Variant Choices?

Hey everybody, I'm hoping somebody has an app or even maybe a combination of apps that can solve my problem for me.

I'm looking for something that can give me unlimited variants, which I can easily find, but I also would like to have these variants still have SKUs on them so I can track them in my inventory software.

That within itself is seeming to be a little difficult to find but not impossible, but when I'm also looking for something that can layer different options photos onto a base photo (like Photoshop layers), so that customers can see what the options they're picking would look like, I hit a wall. 

Is this just not something that is possible? Or should I be looking to combine apps rather than have this in one?

"Unlimited variants" is often an indicator of having bad information architecture, reexamine the product model.

Look for personalization apps that have preview features.

The problem will then be app interoperability or ability to do theme customizations etc to bring everything together.

possible? Yes, pragmatic for one app to do everything? No.

Having two big asks creates unicorn requirements, decreasing the chances you'll find an off the shelf app to solve some problem.

Increase the need to develop a custom app or theme customizations.

Also for the future know that , while still in developer preview (beta) , under the hood the variant limit is increasing to 2K variants.
