Shopify AppBridge Client/server Url issue

Hi, 

I am building a shopify app that will also use Shopify App Embed. The App URL Is set to my Api Server which is required for authentication and installation. When you try to access the app embed then the server redirects with the URL of the client side app including the host, shop, hmac and session token query parameters. I have ran into this issue where appbridge is not working and giving me this error (AppBridgeError.. INVALID_ORIGIN). Both The server/Client side are hosted under the same domain but with a different subdomain.
