Shopify authentication two factor

I never signed up for an authentication app however I did sign up to have the number sent to my phone. I changed my password today all of a sudden they’re telling me to put the code from an app I never signed up for. My launch date is tmrw I already reach out to Shopify customer support but they’re telling me they’re gonna “escalate” the situation. I’m so frustrated rn bc I didn’t sign up for an app🤦🏾‍♀️
