Shopify CDN image download returns 400

I download images directly from Shopify CDN in Shopify APP without using u-a,with the following request:

https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0000/0001/products/image.jpg

However, after making frequent requests, the server starts returning 400 Bad Request. I suspect this might be due to an IP-based rate limit.

Questions:

1. Does Shopify CDN impose rate limits on IP addresses for image requests?
2. If yes, what are the request limits (per second or per minute)?
3. Is there an official recommendation for downloading images without triggering rate limits?
