Shopify OAuth grant screen behavior change

Recently, clicking install on the OAuth grant screen opens in a new window. Is this a recent change? The old behaviour was that it opened in the same window as the grant screen. This allowed us to complete the OAuth in a popup but with this new behaviour, it is no longer possible.

Anyone else run into this?
