Shopify Shop App and HTML in Product Page Variant fields, also Linkpop

Is there anyway of getting the Shop App and Linkpop to correctly translate the HTML code I have in my Product Page variant fields? eg,

<strong style="color: red;">Select Unisex Size</strong>

Works great within the Online store, type is bold and red – but looks like coding error across Shop App and Linkpop. Many thanks!
