Shopify store says Order confirmed when payment app hits the PENDING GRAPHQL MUTATION

Hi,

We are testing shopify store behaviour with our payment app. We are hitting pending graphql mutation(https://shopify.dev/api/payments-apps/graphql/reference/payment/paymentsessionpending) when the payment is in pending state (FYI, it might get succeeded or can fail as well). But after hitting pending graphql, the shopify store returns a page which says order has been confirmed. Is this expected behaviour? Doesn't it cause bad experience for end user?
