We noticed the APP of Shopify: Translate & Adapt, doesn't work propperly in some Elements.
We noticed that in the TOP BAR, the HEADER Elements are not Redirecting to Right Translation Page, alltough there are. It only Redict to the MAIN/Language of the site, allthough we are on subdomains with different languages. So for example; when on German or French site, the Header Elements redirect wrongly back to the Main/Language (for us this is Dutch/NL).
We noticed also in the Shopify TRanslate & Adapt these HEADER Elements are not visible and therefore not changable or possible to link/redirect to right pages.
The problem concerns in the following in the TOP HEADER BAR:
- Clicking on Company/Brand Site logo, it goes back to the MAIN NL homepage, alltough surfing on other language sites (like German & France).
- Same goes for the Wishing Listing. When surfing on for example the Spanish site, and you click the wishing list on top it redirects wrongly to the Dutch Wishing List.
- Same goes for when clicking Contact in Top Header.. When surfing on for example the Italian site, and you click the Contact on top it redirects wrongly to the Dutch Contact page.
- In the Top Header there is also a Search Bar to find Products on the site, but it can only find Dutch/NL products, eventhough you are for example visisting the Swedish site.
Additional problems are:
- When being on the Product Page of a Product, when the Wishing list icon is being clicked it will redirect to the Dutch/NL wishing list, eventhough for example being on the English subdomain/language.
- Also when being on the Cart Page (before checking out), and there is being Clicked again on the Cart Button, it will redict to the Dutch/NL Cart page, eventhough for example being on the Portugese subdomain/language.
Is anyone known with these problems? If we could acces them in Shopify Translate & Adapt we would change/redirect them ourselves to the correct url pages of the particular pages, but we can't because the Top Header Bar is not visibile or changable (url links) on the Shopify Translate & Adapt App (as far as we know).
The local language (home)pages are excisting in each language / subdomain we have on the site, like: Contact page, Wishing Listing, Homepage, Cartpage. We created and can acces them, for example in the FOOTER (site/folders in below), but in the Top Header Bar, they are just not linked accordingly, which makes it going back to the Main Domain each time, eventhough being on a different language site...
Hope anyone is familiar with this problem & knows how to fix this.
