App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
So I keep loading my products from my shopify to eBay with drop shipping. Here is the thing though, no matter how many times I edit the location, it keeps saying my item is shipping from my home address in California. Edited shipping policy, changed default "ship from address" to China in eBay, changed location in shopify app (eBay sales channel) to China. Yet it still displays my home address in the eBay app, I'm drop shipping from Ali-express Suppliers, so I might get banned if this keeps up, can someone help me force eBay connect to fix this, ie to integrate item location into their editing, apart from sync settings and shipping policy.
or can recommend a better app to use, or external platform, to manage my inventory, sync orders, invoice and customers. This is a Royal pain and all my sales have come from eBay, and I need at least 250 email subscribers before I move everything over to Facebook marketing, Google ad-words, etc.
I'm rebuilding my website, but can't afford to loose money, I need the extra income, because my day job won't pay for my 22 year old butt to move out, well not in Cali anyway.
Hi @zaxon,
Can I ask you where exactly you/ your customers are seeing this address? Is it in the notification email sent to the customer after they purchase a product from your store or is it in the product description within the app itself?
I was thinking it might be worth reaching out to the app developers directly (help@connectebaysupport.com) about this also if it is in the app.
If you could reply with more information about this in as much detail as possible to take a closer look it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
I am tired of dealing with this frustrating situation . Now last thing before i stop dealing with Shopify .
Is there any real expert who can tell me why i cannot connect my ebay sales channel to my ebay account.
I Installed ebay sales channel . And it brings me to the screen where i enter my ebay user name and password . It never completes the process and returns with the error " error getting policies from ebay "
And after that when i see under sales channel it shows my ebay account is connected but there is a button above which says complete setup .
When i click complete . It says cannot process your request our staff has been notified.
I contacted ebay . They cant help . Tried shopify they cannot help . Is there any one who has encountered this problem.
My purpose is the migrate my 8000+ items to shopify so i can publish them to my website which i have linked with Shopify.
Not a big task but seriously this ebay sales channel and shopify creating lot of trouble for me .
Hoping to see some positive reply.
FYI - Already deleted ebay sales channel and installed again - No go
Has anyone sorted out the original issue here? I'm having similar issues.
I have two options when telling the ebay app where my inventory is stored - oberlo or my home address. I dropship only, so no inventory at my home address.
But ebay kicks out an error when I try to list, says my shipping is not valid for that location, no matter what I set it to. I feel like I've tried all options.
My ebay shipping profiles are set to ePacket from Hong Kong, I've also tried China, same error. To the US only.
There's alot of options here, and not much help. I do integrations for a living and I can't figure this out. Please point me to more help if possible.
Hello Nick,
This shows on the ebay listing. This leads customers to believe their ordered products are shipped from US.
Is there a fix you know of for this? Zaxon is correct, even if I change drop down, before publishing, it changes back to address associated with shopify store.
Thanks! Awaiting your answer 🙂
Annie
Hi @luvlyredun,
The best place to inquire about this would be to contact the eBay app developers directly. You can do so from the support page on the app in the Shopify App store.
