Slack integration is not tolerated in Shopify Apps

Greetings,

We built a nice little Slack bot that retrieves orders, customers, and a bit of sales analytics from the comfort of Slack.

We want to share the app with some merchants as a public unlisted app.

Our App review keeps being rejected. Shopify does not allow an app to interact with a desktop app. First, Slack is not even a Desktop app. Second, there are many examples of Slack-related app on the store already.

Can we have a clear explanation of the matter? What if you replace Slack with Whats App, Signal, Telegram ?

Hey, was this ever resolved? I'm building something for Telegram and want to make sure there will be no issues.
