SMS Notification Based on Tagged Order

Hey,

So I run a store that does local delivery. Right now I use W3 Status for custom notifications and statuses.

I update orders to, delivery window, out for delivery and delivered and each sends an email to the customer. Each one of these statuses gets added as a “tag” to the customer order once applied in the W3 dashboard.

I am trying to add an additional SMS/MMS notification once the order is marked as delivered. I have not found any third party SMS services that can look for a tag in an order and then send the SMS notification to the number for that order.

Is there anything that exists that will “send a new text when order tag matches x” within a reasonable window of time?

Did you eventually find a solution to this? I've been doing some brainstorming, and I'm certain I can build a custom solution to handle this for you.

Not sure if you found a solution, but I just found out that you can do this with SMSBump.
