Solution to viewing customers overall balances

I allow some of my customers to build up a tab. Whether or not this is a good business decision, I need a way for my accountant to see how much each customer owes. Some of them will order 3 times, paying a small portion of the total amount per order, and I need a way to see a net remaining balance for each customer so my accountant can handle their numbers accordingly.

Any ideas for solutions? Initial searches didn't yield a successful option.
