Special Edition Box with Different items & variants - bundle

Hello,

I own a women's apparel brand and want to make a special edition box for the holidays containing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I need an app that does the following:

• Customers can select from the product page the short and t-shirt size
• Track inventory

This is a one-time event, so I do not need subscription box apps. Please help!

That's a good question, it's a great idea to include bundles on your online store as it can encourage a purchase from your customers! By default, using the Shopify platform we have the option to individually add products to the online store. I can definitely see how beneficial it would be for Shopify to allow our merchants to create their own bundles without the use of an application. I will provide this as a suggestion to our developers to hopefully include this in the future.

I went ahead and added a couple third-party applications that will allow you to create bundles with two existing products. Feel more than welcome to take a look through my recommendations:

Hi

It depends on how you want to set up your bundle. With some bundle apps they create a custom product page and may require some theme changes. They give the customer the options of selecting between different products and when they checkout they see each item in cart.

The other option is something like our bundle app whereby you create a bundled product as any other product so when the user checks out they only see the one item in cart. We then convert the order line into the components so you can manage inventory correctly. We also monitor the bundle inventory so it only shows what can be created based on the component inventory levels.

In your scenario you could create the product with options like:

Option 1: Shirt Size

Option 2: Short Size

You then bundle each possible variation with the two items.
