App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi there!
I would like to automate a very important part of my store. I managed to get it all set up and done on Zapier, only to find out it would cost me about $800 a month to use their service for my needs - OUCH. Their service is just not the right fit for my situation.
I have a catalogue of approximately 3k products. I would want the quantity for them to update once a day automatically via API. I currently use Zoho Sheets. I can use another service, but I would prefer straight forward automation.
The app would update by sku or product name, and have custom presets for what the columns edit in Shopify.
Thanks!

Hi everyone! Having wrestling back and forth with Zoho Flow's support, which I will honestly say was downright terrible (but their other products and support for them are GREAT, just Zoho Flow is definitely not... there), I found a viable solution!
I tried out Parabola (Thanks @jpbertram ) and they did not have a direct connection to Zoho Sheet. I spoke to support, they have a possible solution to get it going with Zoho Sheet but their interface was way too confusing for me. I have tried about a dozen automation utilities over the past month and even after several attempts, I couldn't wrap my head around how to use it correctly. I do appreciate their mentioned a possible way to use their service with Zoho Sheet, so the effort was there.
I was not able to keep using Zoho Sheet, which wasn't ideal but not an issue if I get my goal accomplished. I settled with Stock Sync. I will admit I did not stick to them the first time, but I over looked them due to the lack of Zoho Sheet connection at first. Once I set up Google Sheets with them, it looked about right. They also just happen to be the most economical choice, to a surprising degree, with its "shortcomings". Their utility is a one-way street, unlike Zapier that can edit the spreadsheet, and that's where the shortcomings end for me. Stock Sync's only goal is to add, update, and remove inventory, which is 100% fine with me at this stage. Their fee set-up is pretty interesting, as least from the handful of other apps I've used. They have a monthly fee that covers unlimited updates per feed, an example feed is add products (its only function), up to the number of feeds you pay for. The second part of their fee schedule is a credit system - don't be scared! It's pretty cheap, a penny or less per product per feed. So if I want to add (1 credit per SKU), update (1 credit SKU), I would be charged two credits (2 ¢) plus the monthly fee, which is as cheap as $5.
Not a promo or anything, this was just SUCH A FREAKIN HEADACHE to figure out without shelling out a painful amount of money, and not getting confused along the way. Hope someone can benefit from my efforts, thanks everyone!
@jpbertram Parabola idn't work with Zoho Sheet if I'm not mistaken. This app didnt work for me but probably would be great for others.
I'm currently trying to work with Zoho Flow. I use Zoho for other things, such as Sheet. Their customer service usually is great but for Flow it is painstaking. Looking at other options unless Zoho Flow gets it together.
They had some issue with their emails, then kept missing appointments (I'm assuming due to the email issue), and now their actual program is having some issue. Looking into Integromat... Any other suggestions? I'm willing to spend $100 per month for this to be resolved...
Hey @GUÜDS
Happy to set this up as a Google sheet integration with a free trial so you can evaluate. Please email me at anto@opstack.co. Here's a demo of one our integrations. (Covers both Shipstation and Shopify, Shopify demo is at the 1 minute mark)
thanks
