App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Tonight, during CI deployment of my Python application connected to Shopify's GraphQL APIs, a new version 2025.4.26 of the python-certifi package is causing SSL validation issues:

I've tracked down this issue on the package's GitHub repo, with other users with similar issues, but maintainers seem confident that no processes have changed, and that the package is updated whenever the upstream Mozilla foundation trusts reach a nightly build.
For now, I have downgraded the package, but any advice is welcome.
I'm experiencing this error trying to rebuild one of my previously working Docker solutions. I downgraded to certifi==2025.1.31 in my requirements.txt and now it's working. Thank you for sharing this as ChatGPT and myself just spent the last 2 hours pulling our hair out.
Man, you saved my life! Thank you!!!
