Steps to get approved to use AssetAPI in latest API version

Starting from API version 2023-04, shopify has discontinued public access to the Asset API. Only if you're approved by shopify then you can access that.

I'm building an app which uses the asset API to upload different files to store theme to manipulate storefront based on logics in our app.

What's the way to apply to get access to AssetAPI to create assets into theme? Or is it possible to make the app using some older versiob maybe 2023-01 and then apply app for getting access to AssetAPI, will it be feasible?

Any help around this would be highly appreciated.
