Stock inventory: SKUs with pre-made quantity

Hi there, 

In our store, we sell products with 2 variants: SIZE and QUANTITY. 

The quantity option is a pre-established bundle (3, 6, and 9). Therefore the SKU will have different variants like: TSHIRT-XL*3, TSHIRT-XL*6, TSHIRT-XL*9 ...

I am looking for an inventory tracking app that can automatically calculate the stock. 

Real case scenario:

• we have 100 t-shirts in stock

• we make 1 sale of the SKU "TSHIRT-XL*9" 

• the stock should now be 191

You can bundle the multi packs using our bundleup app which works in the background so no edits to your theme are required. There are 2 main function of our app that will help in managing your stock:

1. Inventory Management

Our app lets you connect up products to correct SKUs and we then update their inventory based on the component stock level. So in your example you would bundle the 3, 6 and 9 packs with the "Single" SKU. When the Single variant goes down in stock your packs will also adjust accordingly. The single SKU can be a separate product if you prefer and does not have to be made available for purchase.

2. Order Fulfilment

When you sell one of the variations the single stock level won't reduce automatically. What our app does is update the order post purchase by replacing the order line with the Single SKU as order line which then reduces that stock. This then feeds into point 1 above where it updates all linked variants.

Our app is able to meet your needs as it is primarily a bundle inventory management system so it will also be able to track the SKUs for variants of each product.

The bundle inventory is automatically set based on the available inventories of the bundle item(s), including the inventories of the variants. Proper quantity will also be taken out of the inventory of each bundle that is being purchased.
