Switching to Instagram Checkout. What happens to old IG posts?

Has anyone recently turned on Instagram checkout? Wondering what happens to previous posts that have products tagged for in-app-browser checkout. Would those just continue to work for old IG posts? I’m guessing no, since you’re having to choose between the 2 checkout methods. But maybe the old posts with products tagged get converted to IG checkout as well? Even though they were published before switching over to IG checkout? For those that switched over to IG Checkout... thanks for your help!
