Third Party App - Notify Shopify Installers there are new updates

Hi Shopify community,

Some background;

We have created a third party app on Shopify and will always introduce enhancements / new features within that app.

We have noticed that some of our customers don't realise there are new features or updates; as we don't require them to update anything. 

Question - Is there a way to notify our Shopify users that there are new updates, e.g something like a tooltip text with "New updates available"
